Martin Brudnizki and Nicholas Jeanes first met at Martin’s eponymous interior design studio in London sixteen years ago. Together they created the interiors for a client base that included The Royal Academy of Arts, Soho House and Annabel’s. But it was designing the products that sit within these spaces that really bonded them.
Co-founded in 2015, And Objects launched with the aim of allowing exclusive access to the designers’ creations. Since its inception, And Objects has successfully launched a range of furniture and lighting, while also working in partnership with leading brands on collaborative collections.
And Objects design pieces of furniture and objet that perfectly straddle the gap between functionality and beauty. Their items fit effortlessly within an interior, ensuring they’re both useful and imaginative. They pride themselves on this unique dual approach to product design that brings together a love for materiality and technical detailing with exquisite finishes and a flare for the unexpected.

With every item they look to both sides of the design spectrum; they seek to create an item that combines a sense of purpose and belonging with beauty and frivolity. To achieve this, they approach the design process in a unique way; researching historic designs to understand how best to construct the chosen item. In doing so, they take up the role of artist, engineer and master craftsman; creating objects that are functional yet beautiful.
And Objects work with a selection of the highest quality workshops, artisans and craftsman. This is a collaborative process, working with their designs, test ideas and help innovate until very detail is perfect. Traditional methods are very important and they respect the time and care taken with every process.
FRD Designers & Makers are one such workshop that And Objects work with. We produce metal lighting and furniture; utilising skilled methods in brass and steel from cold forming and casting to precision machining, we continue to push the boundaries and bring And Objects pieces to life.
