ABOUT THE ROLE
FRD are seeking a Projects Administrator to support the smooth coordination and administration of live projects from order through to delivery. This is an on-site role based at our workshop and studio in Wimborne St Giles.
The Projects Administrator will play a key role in maintaining organisation, visibility, and communication across projects, supporting project managers, designers, and operations with accurate information and timely coordination.
This role is administrative and coordination-focused and does not carry full project ownership or client delivery accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Coordination & Administration
Maintain accurate project records, trackers, and documentation
Support project setup, handovers, and internal coordination
Track key project milestones and flag issues or slippage
Communication & Organisation
Organise meetings and record actions
Act as a point of coordination between design, production, purchasing, and operations
Ensure information is clear, current, and accessible
Commercial & Process Support
Assist with purchase order processing and tracking
Support basic budget tracking and cost visibility
Ensure internal processes and documentation are followed
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Clear written and verbal communication
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, workshop-based environment
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Experience in a project support, coordination, or administrative role preferred
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Commute to Wimborne St. Giles, Dorset
Valid driver's license
Authorised to work in United Kingdom
