ABOUT THE ROLE
FRD are seeking a Project Manager to take ownership of the delivery of bespoke projects from order through design, manufacture, QC, and final delivery. This role carries responsibility for programme management, client communication, internal coordination, and delivery assurance, working closely with design, production, and operations.
The Project Manager will be expected to operate confidently in a bespoke manufacturing environment where schedules, designs, and priorities evolve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Project Delivery
Own the delivery of assigned projects from order to completion
Develop and manage realistic project schedules
Coordinate design, production, procurement, and QC activities
Client Management
Act as the primary point of contact for clients
Manage expectations, programme updates, and issue resolution
Lead QC events and delivery coordination
Internal Coordination
Work closely with design and production teams
Identify risks early and manage mitigation actions
Ensure projects are released to production in a controlled and achievable manner
Commercial Awareness
Track project budgets and labour hours
Manage client purchase orders
Support invoicing milestones in line with delivery progress
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Proven experience managing projects in manufacturing, engineering, or bespoke environments
Strong organisational and communication skills
Comfortable making decisions and owning outcomes
Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
Good commercial awareness
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Commute to Wimborne St. Giles, Dorset
Valid driver's license
Authorised to work in United Kingdom
